Northwest Elementary is a traditional school that strongly emphasizes all academic areas. Concepts of citizenship, patriotism and respect for high values are emphasized. Technology is used as a tool for learning and gaining access to information. Northwest Elementary's existing building was constructed in 1957. Northwest Elementary offers three sections each of Kindergarten through fourth grades. There are currently 335 students enrolled.
