5th Graders... 1st semester is over and we are back in school after a super Winter Break.  We are doing great and will continue practicing and working on speed and accuracy.   The keys will be covered, so it is very important that students memorize the keyboard.  There are several websites I have included to encourage practice.  Please encourage your child to practice at home using proper finger placement and keyboarding posture. 

We have access to Study Island at school and home.  Great souce for independent practice.  Please work with your child at home on STUDY ISLAND (tutorials that match our state standards) and home studies being sent home by teachers.  I have attached a link for easy access to Study Island... (click below)
