Dodge City Public Schools is excited to announce the promotion of Tara Schraeder to Executive Director of Human Resources. Schraeder will assume her new role on July 1, 2025, following the transition of Associate Superintendent of Human Resources Jason Scheck to Superintendent.
Ms. Schraeder has been the Assistant Director of Human Resources for Dodge City Public Schools since 2022. Before her work at the district, she served as the Human Resources Officer for the City of Dodge City from 2019 - 2022. With a passion for people and an understanding of legal policies and procedures, Tara brings warmth and strategic expertise to this leadership role.
Tara holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Fort Hays State University, earned in 2018.
