Extraordinary Teaching

Meet Terence Williams.  Terence is a Dodge City native who attended Linn Elementary and graduated from DCHS in 2010.  He continued his education by playing basketball at Allen Community College and Oklahoma Panhandle State University, where he received his Bachelors in Health & Physical Education in 2017. 

Terence started his career as an Educational Assistant for a middle school in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. That is where he realized his genuine passion for working with young people.  Later he worked as the Youth and Teen Program Coordinator for Sioux Falls YMCA and the Student Engagement Specialist for Collision Youth Ministries; he discovered the value of connecting with young people in the community.  By cultivating meaningful relationships, he offered support and guidance when walking beside them during difficult times.

Mr. Terence Williams now teaches Physical Education at Linn Elementary and is creatively motivating his Face-to-Face students in the morning and Remote Live Learners in the afternoon.  Mr. Williams’ optimism is contagious; he is an extraordinary teacher who influences our young students every day. #DCPSProud.
