Meet Rachael Pitchford, Principal at Comanche Middle School. Pitchford has been in education for 13 years and loves working with the students, staff, and parents each day. She competes in bodybuilding competitions and placed 2nd in her last competition. Pitchford graduated from Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. She has a cat named Megan and Megan has one ear shorter than the other!

Pitchford says, “I have felt very blessed to live and work with the people of USD443 and Dodge City!”

Meet Justin Briggs, Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at Comanche Middle School. Briggs is a graduate of Cimarron High School and Saint Mary of the Plains. He has served in education for 22 years and still says every day is a new adventure! In his free time, Briggs enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with the grandkids. In 2018, Briggs was named Kansas Middle School Athletic Director of the Year.
