Dodge City Community Resources

  • During Business Hours: If someone you know is in a mental health crisis and they are safe to transport, you can call ahead to see if they can do a same-day intake. The ER or the police station is also an option.
  • After Business Hours: If it is safe to transport the person, you can take them to the ER or police station to be evaluated.
  • Well Check: If they are not safe to transport or you are not in the same location but have a concern, you can call 911 for a well check. A well-check is an opportunity for a police officer to talk to the person and see if they need additional professional resources.
