- This training correlates directly to Head Start Program Performance Standard 1302 Subpart A which delineates ERSEA.

What data will be used to determine need & monitor progress? How will it be used?
- This training will provide information about Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and attendance. We will use the information obtained in our application process to ensure that we are meeting Head Start requirements during the application process with families.
- Advocates will also receive information about family goals and attendance. They will use the data in child plus to ensure the families are attaining goals and maintaining student attendance about 85%.

- ACTIVITY 1
- Family and Community Specialist, enrollment clerk, and 3-5 Family Advocates will attend the ERSEA Institute 2023.
- ACTIVITY 2
- Discuss knowledge learned with enrollment clerk and advocates. Ensure that the current practices are aligned with Head Start and add/change practices as directed.

What is the anticipated impact on teachers? On students?
- BENCHMARK 1
- Obtain new knowledge about ERSEA and ensure we are following Head Start Guidelines for the application and selection process.
- BENCHMARK 2
- Make changes as indicated in the training to current application process. If major changes are necessary, share with Policy Council and get approval.
