  • Educators will attend pathway specific sessions and trainings to increase knowledge for improved student learning experiences. Information is learned about business and industry that is brought back to better prepare our students for post-secondary success, whether that is for the workforce, technical school, or university.

  • The conference will help educators provide a relevant educational experience that prepares all students for college and career success.

  • Classroom activities, projects, formative and summative evaluations will be used as monitoring progress.

How will the learning take place? How will the learning be supported?

  • ACTIVITY 1
    • Learning will take place through general and content specific breakout sessions as selected by the individual participants.
  • ACTIVITY 2
    • During PLC time, the attendees of the conference will share the information/activities that were learned.
  • ACTIVITY 3
    • The attendees will monitor classroom activities, projects and assessments throughout the course of the semester to determine if student skills/learning were impacted.

What is the anticipated impact on teachers? On students?

    • Improved teacher knowledge will result in improved student success.

    • The attendees will implement at least 1 new concept learned before the completion of the course.

    • The final outcome of this conference is post-secondary success. The CTE Department wants to give all of their students the best possible skills and knowledge, real-world experiences, and business/industry preparation to have them be the best prepared in their pathway for success at the next level.
