  • EHS Home Visitors:
    • The Annual KDEC Conference is a powerful opportunity for professional growth. The conference sets the stage for an astounding array of sessions, networking experiences, and other activities. KDEC promotes the education of young children with exceptional needs, and encourages professional growth and research as a means of better understanding the unique needs related to young, exceptional children.
    • We are looking forward to seeing you Thursday, February 27 - Friday, February 28, 2025 in Wichita.

  • Goal A.1.: Provide a relevant educational experience that prepares all students for college and career success. On or before the spring of 2026 state KAP assessments 80% of all USD 443 students will score at or above Performance Level Descriptor (PLD) level 3 or above.

  • Goal 2: On or before March of 2026 USD 443 staff members will have a high collective efficacy as measured by the KSDE Component Baseline Analysis with a goal of reaching an average of 4.50 on the statement “We believe all staff have confidence in the capabilities of each other.”

    • NOV. 6-9 (6th 8:00-5:00, 7th-8th 8:00-4:30, 9th 8:00-1:45)
    • How/when will teachers obtain the necessary new learning?
      • In person attendance at the Annual Conference Keynote Presentations and Sessions. Upon return the Home Visitors will report to supervisor and present as needed.
  • INITIAL IMPLEMENTATION ACTIVITY – DATE(S)
    • How/when will teachers be supported in applying new learning to classroom practice?
      • Participants will work together to set individual goals for integration of strategies/learning obtained during the conference into daily practice.
